Not that I regret that decision but I feel like it may be good for me, I know LA seems like a yucky place (Somewhat) but it have many Job Opportunity's and they have a lot of Art options as well. Portland is small and yet many doors are shut even if I have somewhat experience, no matter how well my art is they seem uninterested so I need to keep building my portfolio and find more inspirations. I will be living with my Aunt and Uncle in this historic Mansion owned by the Filipino Federation of America (F.F.A.) plus I only pay $250.00 a month! My budget is getting really tight at the moment after the vacation, so I will be searching for a job online before I move, There is just so many places to look around more than Portland.
Heck yeah I will miss home because L.A. is nothing but Hot, smoggy, crowded, Crazy Drivers, Crazy People, and high on Taxes! I have a feeling I may get sick for a while since my body is sensitive to certain elements especially cold nights and hot day. I have already left some belongings and I made a decision to my relatives that I will be back in a few weeks or around mid December. I am also interested to fix up the Mansion and make it look appealing to the Tourist and Film producers-oh yes, they do get those people almost every week because that place was filmed in few Hollywood movies. I also met some people from Argentina during my vacation just to see the Mansion! Not to mention that it's full of Visitors from the spirit world, they are good spirits because my whole relatives knows the place since they were kids!
I feel like it's a Journey, to develop this new Independence and experience a new living.
Every one at some age will move out and learn few things in life. Dad said "We Struggle to Survive" just like how he raised our family, It is so true. Yet we find joy as we are making progress and learn from our mistakes, it makes life even more exciting!
I will definitely meet almost everybody I know before I move, otherwise I would fee like an Ass for not saying anything.
