Siena Cathedral

This drawing was done back in 2005 in early spring to late fall, seven months straight but spare breaks in between. It was a challenge piece since so many details per square inch took roughly days to make layers, and changes over time. Graphite, White Conte, White Pastel, and a mechanical pencil was the medium I used.
Reference was from a book at my High School library. Paper size is 2 1/2 ft at Length and 2 feet wide, beige color.
The picture is just a sample of my work, the Drawing itself is outstanding in person!

Outdoor Vs Art

Journal Entry: Thu May 28, 2009, 11:45 AM

:sun:

All week it's supposed to be nice and sunny, why not go out and stretch those legs?
Yet, there's some work that needs attention and wouldn't worry about it If I got them done... The problem is, THERE'S TOO MUCH WORK!!!
First my Job, Tiered as hell when I get home.
Then my commissions, just sitting on the corner on my desk waiting.
And last the weather! It's so damn nice out I can't stand sitting still watching the sun go buy and waste another nice day. :(

I can't tell if it's procrastination or just trying to avoid working my art. I mean we all have to get out and stretch those arms and legs, right? I have jam load of Ideas but just tiered to motivate my self to sit and draw. Plus it's the time of year when my palms starts sweating because it's so warm in my room, sweaty palms are really annoying! >(
Not that I would stop working all together but maybe when there's a space in time, I would try to get back where I'm working again.
So far I'm just re-watching the two seasons of Transformers Animated on Youtube since CTN is being bummed out lately. Also playing with my Tabla drums and taking long walks to the park witch feels so great!

So I suggest that you get your ass off the chair for once and enjoy late spring, life is big. So there's always time to get something done, Right??? RIGHT??? Yes. :XD:
